I've launched a sync where only files on the failed server that are 
*newer* than the current set will be synced, so this should minimize, 
and perhaps even void any possible lost commits on CVS. I'll do the same 
for SVN afterwards.

It will take a few hours for this to sync up, but in the end we'll be in 
a better state.
