While on the road to stardom, the STP committers have installed Ruby and Rubygems on build.eclipse.org.

Ruby is now installed here:

/shared/common/ruby-18.7/ruby

Rubygems is installed here:

/shared/common/rubygems

I created a bin directory to link to their various executable files:

/shared/common/bin

So now people just need to append this line to their .bashrc:

export PATH=$PATH:/shared/common/bin
