Dear committers,

 

After more than two years in the Eclipse organization and in the PDT project in particular, I'm leaving my company, Zend Technologies, and taking some time off, far away from the software industry (or any other industry in fact).

 

We've accomplish great goals in the last few years, building a new project from scratch, making it one of the most popular projects in Eclipse and introducing THE official open source project for PHP development.

 

It has been an amazing challenge leading this project and facing all the difficulties for the first time, but looking at the results, I couldn't be happier.

 

Assaf Almaz, who is currently the co-project leader, will continue to lead the project and I'm sure he will take the PDT project to new levels and accomplish even greater goals. You can meet him in person if you visit EclipseCon 2008 (of course you are).
