[eclipse.org-architecture-council] New Chair
|
All,
Under Section 7.2 of the Eclipse Foundation Bylaws, the Executive
Director has the responsibility to appoint a Chair of the Architecture
Council. I am very pleased to announce that Gunnar Wagenknecht has
accepted that role and will be our new Chair for the next year. I would
also like to mention that Jay Billings of Oak Ridge National Laboratory
will be Gunnar's understudy with the expectation that he'll take over
from Gunnar in about a year's time. Or whenever Gunnar is ready to leave :)
Congratulations Gunnar, and many thanks for taking on this role. It will
be a busy year with the EDP overhaul, and we really appreciate your
leadership.
I would also once again like to thank Martin Oberhuber for his many
years of service in this role.
