Re: [eclipse.org-architecture-council] Apologies, and resignation

Thank you Martin for what you've done for the Eclipse community and the AC in particular.

Best wishes for your new missions.

Cheers,

Dear AC,

I need to apologize for not making the call last Thursday; big thanks to Denis for running it, and taking notes!

As some of you know, I've changed jobs in summer, and over time it's become increasingly difficult to juggle
responsibilities - down to a point where I feel like I can't properly fill my duties as the AC chair any more.

I've been extremely honored to be the AC's notestaker since the E4 discussions around May 2008
and being offered the position of chair slightly later. But given how things are I think it is time to step
down and make room for somebody who is more actively involved.

I'd still like to stay on board as a committer and AC member, and I'll try to run the December call; but
moving forward, I'll work with the Foundation to find a successor.

Thanks,
Martin
