Oberhuber, Martin Great to see better text editing “for many files” come to Eclipse Core – I’ve tried a couple of different plug-ins for that in the
past but none was really satisfactory so far. Having a good framework for general syntax highlighting / bracket matching in the Core (that would probably attract contributors) is
a lot better than the fragmentation we see with many independent plugins.
