Starting at Eclipse is a self service job. I think it will be helpful to take
new members and to try to get them involved into the council's work.
The operational handing and best practices are new to me.
A getting started mail may be helpful.
Such a mail may have content like:
- getting started links
- how discussions should work
- doe's and dont's
- and a nice hello as Martin has given
Further I think a mentor system as in the projects are reaally good. And to get
new members productive would be good (from my point of view). See it as a
"trainee program" and a welcome.
Sometimes one just need a hint to get better involved.
