I love google calendars. It seems we have a great solution already. I don't
see that it's necessary for us to worry about an "over reliance" on Google's
tools, given they are freely available to all. If that ever becomes a real
problem, we can look for better solutions. In the meantime, we have enough
problems with no good solutions...
There are online facilities for doing a quick poll, like we had the other day
for the committer mailing list usage survey. Perhaps that's easy to set up for
taking attendance?
