Do we have it as feature in the platform repo so everyone can try it and give feedback?

I think we have to go through this step first before including the feature in the product by default.

Also, I would like to have a confirmation that the API is minimal and sane - there are so many cases where we have to keep API with all the burden coming from that so the less we expos the better.
