As per https://www.eclipse.org/eclipse/development/plans/freeze_plan_4_7.phpall changes after RC4 require PMC approval. EMF just published their final release which we should adopt. As you can read in bug 506955, there are no real changes compared to what we currently ship. Please vote on this change.
