Eclipse PMC,

 

I would like to draw your attention to bug #495484 [1] that requests a respin of Neon RC4. The specific request is to remove the UUID code that was added, at my request, into M7. Following a discussion on the cross-project mailing list, it is clear a UUID is controversial in our community, so I would recommend additional discussion before it is considered for released.

 

Pascal will need to provide the Gerrit change but I do hope you approve this re-spin request.
