Re: [eclipse-pmc] Works-with dependency for Derby

I guess Eclipse can also work fine without having Derby to store perftest results J

รจ Agree with workswith, +1 from me.

Thanks,

Subject: [eclipse-pmc] Works-with dependency for Derby

PMC, we need to vote on approving a works-with dependency on Derby. David would like to use Derby as a database for storing performance test results. This is a typical case of works-with for me. We could store results in any other kind of database just as easily. Also, it is consistent with the guidelines for "build and test" dependencies from the IP guidelines:

https://wiki.eclipse.org/Development_Resources/IP/Test_and_Build_Dependencies

We can discuss on the PMC meeting today if you need clarification, but please cast your vote on this thread to approve the dependency as "works with". Here is the CQ for reference:

https://dev.eclipse.org/ipzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=8834

+1 from me.

John
