Re: [eclipse-pmc] Changes to JDT Core Leadership

We have enough committer votes to move forward with this. However, I can't help but notice that many committers did not respond. Further, it looks like many committers are not particularly active in the project. Is it time to retire some of them?

Dear PMC members

As I already informed you, Srikanth has decided to step back as JDT Core lead. Jayaprakash Arthanareeswaran has been proposed as new lead and passed the vote by the JDT Core committers. I propose that the PMC approves Jay as the new JDT Core lead.

I am stepping down as co-lead for Eclipse PDE project. Curtis Windatt will
now be providing full leadership for the project.
