Thanks for the feedback regarding the timeouts. download.eclipse.org currently contains over 1 million files and directories, so just producing a 'find .' takes 6 minutes.

We will investigate the timeout issues.

Agreed. It seems the machine(s) cannot handle the load. They're
extremely slow both for producing the file list and transmitting the
files.
