Re: [eclipse-mirrors] eclipse master rsync service

You don't need to include PHP files - they are mostly there for internal mirrors. Don't bother unless you want to.

I don't have a definitive bandwidth figure for RSYNC... I'm guessing not much more than 5-10Mb regularly - more when we have a release. It won't be a big strain for you.

Interested? Am I ever! Thanks for the offer, we'll take you up on that.

The UK mirror service is acting as an RSYNC hub for us in Europe, OSU
could be an RSYNC hub for us in North America.

I just noticed that you're mirroring everything we have. That's a great
start. If you'd like, please send your rsync URL so I can add it to

I currently exclude all .php files from our mirror, so I will sync those
up and create the rsync module and let you know once it is ready. Do you
about how much bandwidth we should be expecting to use for this?

I've noticed that the eclipse master rsync service is amazingly slow and
was wondering if we could help out with the OSU OSL's rsync server.

We host rsync mirrors for a variety of projects and would be more than
happy to assist if you are interested.
