Can you explain why this would not affect
4.7.2? Would you build 4.7.2 from the old repository? If so, how would
you cherry-pick a fix from master from the new repository?

Yes, for the latter but not the former. We're already in the 4.7.2 endgame
and I don't want to move projects around during that period. You can do
it over Christmas ;-).

That's what I look for - have the agreement on how we
proceed, exact timing is entirely different thing. Although 4.7.2 would
not be affected at all as any such thing will affect only master not branches.

Sure, but a redirect would be nicer.

I believe people who click on such links are skilled enough to try parent
URLs (until they reach the repo or a README) or to look for the classname
