Re: [eclipse-dev] Suggestion to move the XML editor to Eclipse platform?

Hi All, 

It's 10 years I'm waiting for an XML Editor natively integrated in the IDE. 

I think Mickael's and Sopot's new text editor would be the top choice for adding an XML to the platform. 
I think with no big effort we could add also a JSON editor. 

We should keep good documentation to explain the architecture. 

I'm available to help both on implementation and on docs.

Thanks Tom and Dani, I agree pulling in a big code base it not the
right approach. I have a look at the XML editor implementation and
return to this issue, once I have understand the XML implementation
better. Maybe we can use Mikaels and Sopots new text editor
enhancement.
