- investigation of a couple of newly reported bugs in old code:
- no change for 3.6
JDT UI:
- 3.6 RC2 bug fixing
- 3.6 RC2 two day test pass:
- no major regressions found so far
- updated copyright dates on sources
- spell checked properties files
- started to check that F1 is available for all new 3.6 features
- started to verify Javadoc for APIs added during 3.6
- inbox tracking
- 1 public holiday
Platform Text and JDT Text:
- 3.6 RC2 bug fixing

- investigating a potential problem with classpath container
initializer and referenced jars (313965)
- sorting some bugs for 3.6.1 as it is too late now to fix them for 3.6
Rel. Eng.:
- the build now takes only 3 hours 20 minutes to checkout code,
compile, sign and package the zips:
- previously it took between five to six hours to complete
- this decrease in time is due to:
1) NFS changes at foundation reduced CVS checkout times
2) signing process was moved to the new build hardware donated by IBM
- 3.6RC2 released
- testing 3.6RC2 bundles
- linux gtk s390x SDK added to build
- endgame
Debug:
- RC2 testing
- 1 non-doc RC3 fix planned
PDE:
- RC2 testing
- 1 non-doc, non-test RC3 fix planned
User Assistance:
- bug fixing and testing
- not aware of any bugs that cannot wait till 3.6.1 for a fix
Performance:
- 3.6 perf tests:
- some troubles with generation (done manually)
- builds verification (all scenarios):

- bugs status:
- 29 opened: 3 remaining, 17 fixed, 8 resolved, 1 postponed
- remaining bugs are not critical:
+ bug 298961 (Platform/UI): invalid duration
+ bug 298952 (Platform/UI): invalid duration
+ bug 297328 (Platform/Ant): small regression
Workspace:
- bug fixing for RC3:
