Status:

JDT UI
- shipped 3.5 M1
- 3.4.1: done except releasing JUnit 3.4.1
- started M2 planning
- enabled 'Java > Appearance > Show method return type' by default in new workspaces
- polished Inline (enablement, show target in dialog) and Extract Method (enablement) refactorings
- bug fixing
- inbox tracking

Platform Text and JDT Text
- shipped 3.5 M1
- 3.4.1: 2 additional candidates still under investigation
- started M2 planning
- bug fixing
- inbox tracking

Platform Search
- made first 3.4.1 fix

Debug
- 3.5 M1 test pass
- Released four 3.4.1 fixes (no more candidates currently)
- Added API for export/import breakpoints to/from StringBuffer
- 3.5 planning

PDE
- 3.5 M1 test pass
- 3.4.1 fixes (still 6 candidates remaining)
- Bug fixing
- Declarative Service Tooling graduation review is scheduled for Aug 13
- Working on plug-in export/install in host SDK using p2 (i.e. export & run on latest code)
- 3.5 planning

JDT APT:
- monitoring inbox & bugs
- Still working on getting committer agreement signed - some movement, no
progress.  For the time being I'm going to start giving bug fixes to
Olivier to commit.

User Assistance:
- Updated the help preference page
- Improved the appearance of the related topics section

Topics:

1) Bugzilla maintenance without mail-bombing:
        - are some components planning to do this?
                if so, we should
                - announce those changes on eclipse-dev
                - not "cheat", e.g. mark bugs as resolved or verified without actually doing the job
