Thanks Nick.  That is actually
perfect.  I had the thought about grabbing extra pref pages and only
did a little discovery - finding the extensions in the ui.ide plug-in.
If/when I had gone a bit further I'd
have noticed that the code referenced by the ui.ide plug-in was actually
in the ui plug-in, that puts it in my RCP plug-in set but then I need the
xml.

Given a glance at https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=73587
it does look like that will
also keep me on the straight and narrow (don't touch internal anything
as there is no such phrase "internal API").

More fun/practice ahead.
