But surely he doesn't still retain copyright
over contributions he has already made?  I released a major contribution
of his earlier this week and I could only revert the change with great
difficulty.  At the very least we'd have to pull out the top New &
Noteworthy item for M6 if this isn't settled today.

There is one issue, copyright and EPL.  I am quite certain that he
will not be willing to open source his contributions.  So I'm a +1
pending the outcome of the copyright question.

I have reviewed his contributions for several months and have always found
them to robust and of high quality.  Notably, he has never broken
a build or introduced a test failure in many months of high volume contributions.
 A definite +1.
