* Looking at alternate designs of Threads & Monitors view
* Experimentation with a 2-page launch wizard in place of launch configuration wizard
* 3.1 planning (now posted, including M2 plan)
* Applied comments/suggestions from 1st code review of IO Console to the implementation
* Migrated "MessageConsole" to use the new "IOConsole" implementation
* Bug fixing

JDT Core

- working on new DOM Parser
- improving code assist to support 1.5

Help

- Investigating some problems detected on AIX with 2.1.3 and 3.0 streams
- Log messages in 3.1 stream are now English (not translated)
- Investigating strange search problems in some locales

Update

- the install wizard performs downloading of plugins in a background job (https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=66060)
(The main work is done, but I still have to polish a couple of things, such as selectively downloading optional features, and a few minor issues).


JDT/UI

- 3.0.1 bug fixing
- 3.1 & M2 planning
- added support to copy/paste Java elements into external
  applications
- improved placement of members in Pull Up and Introduce
  Factory refactorings
- continued work on Convert Raw Types refactoring
- continued work on making JDT/UI J2SE 5.0 aware
  o compiled list of J2SE 5.0 issues in the refactoring area
  o support for Pull Up members between generic types
- added a Quick Fix to convert old style for loops over arrays
  into enhanced for loops
- added performance tests for Package Explorer
  o open view part
  o selection changes
  o expand project
- worked on refactoring performance tests

- worked on performance API and infrastructure
