- RC1 reduced transient memory allocated (class files' byte[]) during
build of entire self-hosting source workspace from 240Mb down to 128Mb
- we have queued a subsequent change which should bring the number
down to 35Mb (reuse same byte[] array for first toplevel types in all
units)
