I missed the status note, here is the Platform UI
status:

RCP:
- working on allowing configurability where necessary
- reworked tabbed folder support to be pluggable,
public API not yet ready
- working on options for setting various colour and
font themes

IDE
- working on generic colour + font + gradient them
support and overriding/extending
- worked on progress view
- accessiblity test pass performed
- doc accessibility test pass performed
- working on preferences ui
- lots of discussion around keys and commands
- working with other teams on unifying the look for
perspectives, layout, status items
