There's a updated and revised draft of the Eclipse 3.0 plan:

Rather than have milestone M6 mid-January as previously planned, we've 
pulled it in, to just before Christmas. This makes the development 
interval for M6  only 4 weeks long, which we plan to spend improving 
quality, fixing bugs, and tuning performance.

Please send general comments about this draft plan to the 
eclipse-dev@xxxxxxxxxxx developer mailing list. Comments regarding 
specific items in the plan should be added to the associated bugzilla 
reports.
