[eclipse-dev] Error caused by PDE binary decorator in 20020212

Several bugs have been opened against PDE UI component regarding problems
while importing binary projects. It was discovered that there are two
overlay icons missing from the 'basic' icon set. This set will be used if
the icon depth on your particular display is <=4.

For a quick fix, do the following:

1) Find org.eclipse.pde plug-in directory
2) Locate folder icons/full/ovr16 in this directory
3) Copy external_co.gif and binary_co.gif
4) Paste these images into icons/basic/ovr16 folder

Do this in the build directory. If you have already imported everything
into your workpace, reimport PDE plug-in to pick up these icons.

An alternative to this is to turn the PDE decorator off from
'Window->Decorators'.
