[eclipse-announce] Participate in Eclipse's November Events

The following is a short summary of events that are happening in the Eclipse community during the month of November.  We hope you can participate in one of them.

Last Chance to Attend Eclipse Summit Europe

The Eclipse Foundation is hosting the 3rd annual Eclipse Summit Europe on November 19-20, 2008, in Ludwigsburg, Germany.  ESE is designed to create opportunities for the European Eclipse community to explore, share and collaborate on the latest ideas and information about Eclipse and its members.  The keynote speakers are David Wood from Symbian Software and Dave Thomas from Bedarra Research.  Now is the time to sign-up, as advance registration is discounted 50 euros.  More details are at http://www.eclipsecon.org/summiteurope2008/.

Sign-up for a DemoCamp

You’re invited to attend Eclipse DemoCamps around the world during November and December. The DemoCamps are an opportunity to showcase all of the interesting technology being built by the community and to meet other Eclipse enthusiasts in your city.  There will be demos of research projects, Eclipse open source projects, and applications and commercial products using Eclipse.  Check out the DemoCamp wiki at http://wiki.eclipse.org/Eclipse_DemoCamps_November_2008 for a location near you.

Register for Eclipse Training

The Eclipse Foundation has partnered with members to offer a series of training courses:  Basic RCP, Advanced RCP, Introduction to Equinox and OSGi and Eclipse Modeling (EMF, GEF, GMF).   Classes are being offered in over 20 cities, between November 3 and December 13.  If you are interested in registering, the complete schedule of dates and cities is located at http://www.eclipse.org/community/training/2008fall.php.
