The goal of the Eclipse eRCP project is to extend the rich client platform (RCP) to mobile and embedded devices. eRCP allows developers to use the existing Eclipse application model to create software the runs on the desktop and new devices, such as the Nokia S60 or Windows CE devices. In this webinar, Gorkem Ercan, software development manager at Nokia and the leader of eRCP, will introduce the components of eRCP and demonstrate how applications can be built for eRCP.

Mylyn 2.2

Mylyn's task-focused UI has changed the way that many developers work. Current IDEs overload us with tens of thousands of artifacts. As a result we often spend more time searching, scrolling and navigating than we do programming. Mylyn focuses the Eclipse IDE to show only the information relevant to the task-at-hand and makes multi-tasking a one-click operation. Mylyn's integrated task management facilities displace the cumbersome browser and email based mechanism of task tracking by providing a rich Eclipse-based UI for working with task repositories such as Bugzilla, JIRA and Trac. This webinar will take place on the day of the Mylyn 2.2 release and will demonstrate the latest features for keeping you productive and happy when programming in Eclipse.
