This is your opportunity to learn Eclipse techniques, tips and tricks from experts. The instructor-led training courses will be held from May 20, 2013 to June 28, 2013 and feature classes on BIRT, Building OSGI/RCP with Maven/Tycho, Eclipse Developing with RCP, Eclipse 4 RCP and Eclipse Modeling.

Just a quick reminder that the deadline for the EclipseCon 2013 Call for Papers is less than two weeks away.  We would like to encourage everyone in the Eclipse community to please consider submitting a session proposal. 

 

EclipseCon 2013 will take place March 25-28, 2013, in Boston, MA. This year we have significantly reduced the registration prices. Register before December 31, 2012 for only $800.

 

The deadline for Call for Papers is November 19, 2012. Don’t delay, submit your sessions proposal today.

First, there's the Open Innovation Reception, a dinner buffet served near the Exhibit Areas so you can visit with attendees and sponsors while enjoying your food and drinks.

Mike's Favorite Talks

As the Executive Director of the Eclipse Foundation, Mike Milinkovich thinks a lot about where Eclipse should be going.

So it's fitting that Mike's favorite talks are all around the theme of innovation for the future. As Mike notes, "Within the Eclipse community are a wealth of projects focused on important new industry trends (big data, cloud computing, the Internet of things) and new platforms for the future (Eclipse 4, Orion). These five talks are a good sample of how the Eclipse community is contributing to the future."

Two important deadlines are approaching – the early-bird submission deadline on July 15, and the final submission deadline on July 31. If you would like your talk to be considered for early acceptance and featured on the ECE website, be sure to submit by July 15. All proposals must be in by July 31.
