Regarding the contribution of a bundle with a Kryo serializer and an example:

My inclination is to add/invite you to the ECF organization at github, and create a new repo for this.

ok. my github username is phermsdorf. i would add the serializer bundle and then try to provide an example of how to use it with some docs.
