ECF's 3.5 release review was successful . Congratulations to the
community...and thanks again to those that contributed to ECF 3.5
features, the ECF documentation project , and Sebastian and Harshana
for creating the 3.5 review materials and the New and Noteworthy.
Without objection, let's plan on actually doing a final build and
releasing ECF 3.5 on Monday next: 3/14/2011
There is only one bug left to be resolved that's targeted to 3.5 , so
I think we're almost there. Any smoke testing, install testing that
people can do this week (opening new bugs with target set to 3.5.0, and
priority of major or higher if found) will be helpful.
And of course if people in the community can blog about the release
(e.g. Remote Services usage, RSA/standards impl, xml-rpc, support for
Felix, EclipseCon GLOBAL THERMONUCLEAR WAR talk) it would be very
helpful. Further, if you let me know I'll add links to the ECF home
page to your blog :).
The EMO has declared your review to be successful based on your review
documents and community feedback.
Congratulations on your successful Release Review! Please post on your
Communication Channel that your review was successful. Then you may
release ECF 3.5.
Thanks. Please let me know if you have any questions.
