cross platform is the problem, but there are solutions for screen
sharing that are free for windows and Mac. It's getting Linux into the
mix that is difficult.

I use Abobe ConnectNow (the free version) but it does not allow more
than 3 users. Windows and Mac work well. Good for one on one stuff.

With DImDim you can conference up to 20 users (free). I've seen it
work with Windows and Mac but not Linux.
