[ecf-dev] RE: Update: VoIP Implementation for ECF using SIP (SIP VoIP implementation)

Hi Harshana, Hi Scott,

@Scott
"I'm expecting Roland to complete that...if that's an issue, please let me know"
That is not an issue. I'll do that.

@Harshana
I'll keep in touch with you on Skype as far as testing and documentation is concerned.

Regards,
Roland.

Hi Harshana,

This sounds fantastic. I haven't yet had a chance to work with the
code, but I will try to asap this week (i.e. 9/17/20009). Roland and
Moritz I would very much appreciate you two doing the same thing in
preparation for Harshana's gsoc project final eval (I'm expecting Roland
to complete that...if that's an issue, please let me know).

Harshana's gsoc project home page is:
http://socghop.appspot.com/student_project/show/google/gsoc2009/eclipse/t124022231030

Please, everyone that can spare your time...and are interested in this
work (VOIP using SIP and ECF call API)...take some time to get, try out,
and comment on Harshana's work. That way, everyone in the ECF community
will benefit. The ECF SIP enhancement request is here...and I expect
that after gsoc is over we will be using this to contribute this work:
https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=193388

Harshana...please add documentation or links to documentation on how to
get your code and all dependencies, configure/setup, and instructions
for how to run your code...so that others can get/review/test the work.

I'm looking forward to having this work get into ECF as quickly as
possible...and I'll also be asking Harshana if he will consent to
becoming an ECF committer in support of this work moving forward...and
then nominating him.

Thanks to all,

Scott
