Hi All,
I would strongly encourage all the ECF committers to join this bug, and
request access to the source code Wim has made available so that we can
review the contribution for incorporation into ECF.
Also for any contributors and consumers that would be interested in this
newsreader application or the underlying componentry, or interested in
participating in/enhancing Wim's work, please also join the bug, get
access to the source code from Wim, and post
comments/thoughts/questions/etc to the bug (and here if desired).
The idea here is that Wim will be contributing the newsreader work, and
also become an ECF committer to continue work on nntp, this newsreader
and integration with other technologies (e.g. IM, google wave, etc). So
I would also like to ask that the existing committers use the newsreader
(again, see the bug) as a way to evaluate Wim's work prior to a
committer vote.
