Re: [ecf-dev] Re: jSLP & orbit

Hi Markus,

The Orbit build has to be enhanced so that the jSLP provider is built and made available here:

http://download.eclipse.org/tools/orbit/downloads/

Of the most recent build listed on that page (Jan 29), I don't yet see the jSLP so it probably hasn't been added to the Orbit build yet (or maybe it's been added but a new Orbit build just has to be done).

In any event, once the jSLP bundle is available from the Orbit download area, we will simply add to our map files so that when the SLP provider code is built, the Orbit-built jSLP bundle is retrieved via http for compile, etc. We are doing this now for log4j, httpclient, and others.

just to keep everybody in the loop...
Chris has fortunately agreed on adding jSLP to Orbit and the CQ has
already been approved
(http://dev.eclipse.org/ipzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=2021).

@Chris: Do you need help getting the jSLP code base Orbit-ready?
Upstream uses Maven instead of ANT which might require some changes to
the build process.

Hi all,

thanks to Chris jSLP 1.0.0RC2 is in Orbit.
What has to be done now to get jslp.provider into the daily build and
test cycle?

Cheers
Markus
