I think we should switch to the platform pom. IIRC Paul did the original setup, maybe he can clarify. I suggest to open a bug and copy me and Paul into the cc list.

If Paul has no concerns we can do the change.

I've noticed that the e4.ui build still references Luna, because the parent pom (in e4.releng) is old.
I'm wondering what's the value of this parent pom for e4.ui repository? Wouldn't it be better to have the e4.ui repository consume the eclipse-platform-parent pom?
