As I understand it, one of the main stumbling blocks for working with Eclipse4 content in the 4.x Workbench is that it has no 3.x API representation.  i.e. an MPart will show up if placed in a stack, but it won't show up in Switch Editor/View or Show view (etc), and it doesn't participate fulling in the 4.x Workbench because it doesn't have a WorkbenchReference or WorkbenchPart.

Is it a plan to look at those?
