Re: [e4-dev] Modelextension to implement experimental feature

That looks really cool Tom! For your repo question, I would say it belongs here for now:

http://git.eclipse.org/c/platform/eclipse.platform.ui.git/tree/examples

I don't know if Paul or others have different thoughts...

[e4-dev] Modelextension to implement experimental feature

Hi,

I've just created bug [1] which is the work from Remy updated to git
master and installable inside a plain M7 build (see the attached
screenshot for the feature in action).

I've used the demo namespace for it so that we can maybe release an
experimental addon people can install into their host 4.2.x and provide
feedback if this solves bug [2].

I think this very example once more demonstrates the extrem power of our
Eclipse 4.x Platform. Imagine how my internals one would have had to
adjust to get something like this working.

What I'd like to know is into which git repo should I check the code so
that we can evolve it and maybe if we get sufficient feedback implement
it as part of the base platform in 4.3.

Tom
