Re: [e4-dev] Hide legacy view menus

Thomas, it should be possible to locate the MMenu element(s) associated with the part and set their 'toBeRendered' flag to false. An MPart has one MToolbar and a list of menu elements.

It may well be that we aren't checking the TBR value in our part renderer but would be an easily fixed defect (I'll try to remember to take a look once I get through my email backlog..;-).

Subject: [e4-dev] Hide legacy view menus
Sent by: e4-dev-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxx

Can anyone give me a pointer where to put a simple hack to hide all the view menus in my legacy view parts?
I have looked into the code, but I didn't find a hook by now. Looks like I have to grow my understanding of the Renderers implementation :)

Any hint will be appreciated.
So long
Thomas
