[e4-dev] e4 speaker requested for bay area demo camp: June 1

Hello E4 folks --

Eclipse Foundation makes one major release of Eclipse a year. Eclipse Demo Camp, a community event, is being organized around the Helios release of Eclipse. This is a great opportunity to learn what's new in the latest release of Eclipse and mingle with other Eclipsers in the Bay Area.

We are looking for a speaker volunteer to present remotely via web conference at the event, or in person if possible.  Please email myself and Ashvin from Avantsoft if you are interested.

What: Eclipse Demo Camp
When: June 4, Fri, 6-9pm
Where: Oracle, Redwood city
Food: Venue and food are sponsored by Eclipse Foundation and Oracle.

Visit http://wiki.eclipse.org/Eclipse_DemoCamps_Helios_2010/Bay_Area and sign up for the event.
Please add yourself as a speaker on this page.

Topics planned for the meeting:

  1. E4 - The Dawn of Pervasive and Cool Eclipse (tentative)
  2. OSGi Bundles with Spring style Dependency Injection (eBay) (tentative)
  3. Paul Beusterien, Eclipse TMW - Tools for Mobile Web project (Symbian)
  4. Elias Volanakis, Eclipse RAP Web-apps - What's new in Helios? (EclipseSource)
  5. John Bossons, Wizards to make JPA value objects thread-safe (Torsoft)
  6. Cameron Bateman, Raghu Srinivasan - JSF 2.0 support in Helios (Oracle)

Additionally, a new Meetup group has been set up for the Bay Area. Please sign up for the group and RSVP for this event on http://www.meetup.com/Eclipse.

We look forward to you signing up as soon as possible to help us with the planning of the event.
