Hi all,

The contributed implementation (https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=292197) has successfully passed the IP process (http://dev.eclipse.org/ipzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=3710) and is now available in Eclipse CVS (e4/org.eclipse.e4.resources/). 

You may use following PSF files (from e4/releng/org.eclipse.e4.resources/) to get the sources
- SFS API, SPI and implementation: 		e4.resources.sfs.psf 
- SFS examples and e4 Photo Demo:		e4.resources.sfs.examples.psf 
- SFS JUnit tests: 				e4.resources.sfs.test.psf

You can find additional information about SFS in Eclipse Wiki (http://wiki.eclipse.org/E4/Resources/Semantic_File_System). The instructions about how to run the SFS examples are located in http://wiki.eclipse.org/E4/Resources/Semantic_File_System/Demos.

Hi all,

I was following the flexible resources work in e4 with great interest and would like to take part on next steps in improving Eclipse resource management. 

I have filed a feature request in Bugzilla (https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=292197) to extend resource management towards integration of REST repositories. I have developed a prototype implementation with some SAP colleagues that I will publish after passing SAP-internal IP clearance. 

I will give a short talk at ESE'09 (https://www.eclipsecon.org/submissions/ese2009/view_talk.php?id=882 ) about the topic. And I would be glad to meet some of you in person at ESE to talk about resources stuff.
