Yes, I have started to support some basic features of Animation using Trident. It supports:

  ColorAnimation

  IntAnimation

  PointAnimation

  RectangleAnimation

 

All of them are driven by the class Storyboard using Event Trigger. But now, they are only some basic Animation elements. I think we need to develop some user-friend solutions like FadeTransition,  

 

You can find some examples in packages org.eclipse.e4.xwt.tests.animation of org.eclipse.e4.xwt.tests . All feedback and comments are welcome.

I have noticed there are some testing issues with new features of Animation.
I have tested them in Windows and Mac OS. They work as expected. It seems
they occurs only on Linux. 

We'll check on it in Linux.
