Do you think the meeting will be more
productive if we start with some general picture in mind on what are the
areas of interest? I've added a section called "Areas we'd like to
work on" to the discussion Wiki page:

The goal of this call was to set the direction for the year ahead, but
this wasn't possible due to poor attendance. We will try again in two weeks
on August 27th. Come to this meeting *prepared* to talk about concrete
items you plan to work on in your e4 area over the year ahead. We may decide
to close off components/work areas that are not represented in this planning
call. If you absolutely can't make it, please send information to this
