[e4-dev] [resources] [releng] Problem with versioning in resources

There was a PDE Build problem that caused the build to fail,
https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=255824
But it highlights that 3.5 resources plugins can have higher versions
than the e4 resources plugins.
Other's in the know can chime in, but I think you have 2 choices:
1) tag all of your plugins before the Thursday night build, so they
are higher than the I build
2) pick an appropriate tag pattern that so the e4 plugins will always win
I'm guessing 2 is the best bet. I'm guessing something as simple as
v40_20081208 would do :-)
John, Doug, could you decide on an appropriate pattern, update
http://wiki.eclipse.org/E4/Build page, and re-tag the resources and
tests plugins before Thursday night?
This problem will show up in any plugin that we "branch" into e4 that
is also in eclipse 3.5
