[dtp-pmc] Request PMC Approval To Deliver DTP 1.7.2 RC1a

Dear PMC,

 

I would like to request a 1.7.2 RC1a milestone build based on the rc1 build.

 

We found a major bug in BIRT 2.5.2RC1 candidate, which was integrated with DTP 1.7.2RC1 build. The fix has already been included RC2 nightly but was not included in 1.7.2 rc1 build.

Users will have this issue when they install BIRT 2.5.2 and DTP 1.7.2 from Galileo SR2 rc1 update site.

Build team have prompt a new rc1 integration build http://www.eclipse.org/downloads/download.php?file=/datatools/downloads/drops/N_DTP_1.7.2/dtp-1.7.2RC1-201001200500.zip .

PMC please check out and see if it can be released as RC1a build.
