[dtp-pmc] (Sub) project & committer resignation notice

DTP PMC, EMO:

Currently I am the project lead for the DTP Incubator and Enablement
sub-projects. In addition to being a committer on these projects, I am
also a committer on the DTP Connectivity, Model Base and SQL Development
Tools sub-projects.

I am writing today to resign from the above positions. Personally I
believe that a project lead should, well, lead or get out of the way.
Since recently I have not been able to lead these sub-projects, and I do
not expect to in the near future, it is time to turn over the position
to someone else.

Likewise for committer status, I believe that committers should be
active, not simply "on the list." While I have participated (e.g. in
voting) as a committer recently, I do not see my role as fulfilling the
spirit of being an Eclipse committer, so I will resign.

A slight complication: DTP has two CVS modules
(org.eclipse.datatools.build and org.eclipse.datatools.releng) that are
not associated with a specific DTP sub-project and for which I would
like to retain commit rights. This is because I expect to be able to
help in the next revision of DTP feature definitions, and doing so
requires access to those CVS modules. I'm not sure how this will be
handled from a committer/CVS access perspective. (I note that the
Foundation portal has an additional committer category "Data Tools" that
is seemingly associated with overall project status? Anyway, perhaps I
can remain a committer in "Data Tools" only -- not Model Base,
Connectivity, SQL Dev Tools, Enablement, Incubator -- to retain the
ability to commit to the o.e.d.build and o.e.d.releng CVS modules?)
