[dtp-pmc] petitioning for several bugs (mostly TVT-related)

Hey all...

I would like to deliver fixes for the
following bugs. I think all of them are valid for fixing, expecially to
support the localization effort. The others (228803, 231763, and 233518)
are bugs that should be addressed. 

Any objections?
