[dtp-pmc] Fw: DTP next release (including BZ 203658 from PHP/Zend in 1.5

came from Roy Ganor of the PHP/Zend group who would like BZ 203658 included
in DTP 1.5.1.

So we'd like to petition to include
it in 1.5.1.

As I understand from your mail DTP 1.5.1 is due to next week. Yesterday,
I opened a bug (https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=203658)
regarding MySQL database definition. This bug is defined critical by one
of our users (failed to load phpBB tables). I attached a patch to this
bug that defines the missing data types to MySQL databases.

I will appreciate it if you guys integrate it into the next release of
DTP 1.5.1. since this issue is a "show stopper" for us.

That depends on which version of DTP you're interested in:

* DTP 1.5.1 is due out at the end of this month, and will have its first
RC
build next Wed (9/12). Integration and nightly builds of this stream are
available from the DTP download page.

* DTP 1.6 ("Ganymede") follows the Ganymede simultaneous release
schedule
(as a "+1 dependency" and detailed on
http://wiki.eclipse.org/Ganymede_Simultaneous_Release). The first
milestone, M2 on 9/26, will basically be DTP HEAD + the 1.5.1 stream bug
fixes. New feature work will commence shortly thereafter and begin to
appear in M3 (Nov 7).
