The bug reporter was kind enough to create a patch, but the patch involves

What is our policy as far as API-level changes go in maintenance releases?
I'd like to get this fix into 1.9.1 because it may in fact help with some
of the other MySQL issues that have been reported. But - I'm leery of making
an API change for 1.9.1.
Any input would be great.

Hi all...

Yes, I know the subject line says it all. But don't worry, I'm not really leaving DTP. I'm just leaving DTP in the capable hands of Brian Payton, our PMC and DTP leader and Linda Chan from Actuate who has been there since the beginning.

My role over the last couple of years since leaving Sybase and heading to Red Hat has left me with little time to help out on DTP these days, beyond occasionally answering a question or applying a patch. That's not going to change. All that will change is that I'm leaving the leadership to Brian and Linda. The hope is that other folks can step into DTP to help Brian & Linda lead DTP into the future as I step into more of a supporting role.

I've had a great time with DTP since 2006 and will continue to keep in touch, so you'll still see my name pop up in messages and bug reports from time to time.

I wish all the best to Brian & Linda as they lead DTP forward and will try to help from the sidelines as best I can.

Thanks!
