RE: [dsdp-pmc] DSDP at EclipseCon

Hi PMC,

1) Booth Duty

The Exhibits are open:

Tues 10:00am – 7:30pm

Wed 10:00am – 1:30pm

As we did last year, can I suggest that the project leads hang out at the Wind River booth during the high-traffic times:

Tues

12:00pm – 1:30pm (after you finish lunch)

5:20pm – 7:30 pm (exhibitor reception)

Wed

12:00pm – 1:30pm (after you finish lunch)

There will be one pod with a rolling presentation for DSDP. That’s our spot. You are welcome to plug your laptop in there to do some demos of your technology. Mostly we’ll just use this as a chance to network.

2) PMC Meeting

I know it’s been a while. I’ve personally be swamped with EclipseCon and commercial work. With EclipseCon (almost) behind me, I hope to resume our regular monthly meetings. I couldn’t find a time in the Eclipse schedule next week where I thought it made sense to have a PMC meeting. We already have a BoF scheduled, so I suggest we just use that latter part of that BoF to discuss any issues. Dave Russo (RTSC) will be there, so we can have some introductions. Also, things on TmL and MTJ are starting to move. So a status update from Christian would be good.

See you all next week.

Doug

Subject: [dsdp-pmc] DSDP at EclipseCon

Hi folks,

Wind River is again a Gold Sponsor at EclipseCon. We are finalizing our booth content now. The marketing guys indicated that I can have some space for the DSDP projects if I want it.

In previous years, we’ve tried to have the project leads show up at the booth to answer DSDP questions during the high traffic times (reception, lunches, etc) – basically when there are no technical sessions. Do you want to do that again this year? Would you also be interested in demoing some of the Eclipse technology? A few of the projects have pretty good demo material now: eRCP, TM, NAB, and maybe TmL. If so, I can reserve one of the pods for demos and have a poster made showing the DSDP project content.

We could also demo and advertise CDT, since WR is also sponsoring this project now.

Thoughts?
